Coming in July: workshop where families can talk about end-of-life

We are developing a workshop where families will hear information that will help them have end-of-life discussions. When someone is ill or elderly, or who just wants to be prepared, talking about death can be impossible. To make it easier for families to talk about this together and experience whatever happens together, we're organizing attorneys who specialize in elder law, a panel from El Paso Hospice, and the Institute's Clinical Director, Elizabeth Robles, LPC. These sessions will begin in July and the entire workshop will be in two parts. Total cost will be $40 and payments can be made at each session ($20 per session). Participants will receive a binder with sample documents from the American Bar Association and the Texas State Department of Health & Human Services. We'll also provide some helpful checklists to help families track important information. We plan to rely on some of the work of "The Conversation Project." To learn more about this exceptional resource, we've included their website on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/MYC-Institute-64-Days-1092860697476387/?ref=bookmarks Stay tuned!
